General Manager - Emma Franklin
I first started working in the care industry at the age of 16 while still at college, as a housekeeper part-time. I started spending more time with the residents and realised my passion for care at a young age. I left college and became a full-time care assistant. I spent my first 10 years in care before I decided to go travelling, visiting Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia and South America over a period of 18 months. I have now worked in the care industry for 30 years and feel just as passionate about looking after our residents now as I did when I was 16 years of age.

Dad moved in to Signature at Bentley House at the end of June where he was very comfortable. We could also relax in the knowledge that all the staff were looking after Dad well and had his best interest at heart. The staff were incredibly caring, kind and compassionate (to all of us) and for that I thank you all for looking after Dad so well in his last months. We are proud to offer the highest standard of dementia care at Bentley House and provide a separate purpose-built area. Our highly trained dementia care team is able to provide unique support for those requiring specialist dementia care, helping residents to live well with dementia.
We also hold in-house immersive dementia training sessions to help family and friends to more effectively understand and assist their loved ones.
